Special Message by Rev. Dr. William V. Green
In-Person and Virtual Worship Service
Message Title: Elevating Voices: Jesus and the Female Experience
A sermon to address the concern that affects many churches and their understanding of Scripture. Unfortunately, we often encounter a patriarchal male-controlled approach to the Bible, where specific passages are cited to reinforce traditional gender roles, sidelining women in leadership and ministry. People tend to cherry-pick which parts of the Bible they will adhere to while ignoring others that call for a deeper understanding of equality and inclusivity. As we explore this topic through this sermon, we will celebrate National Women's Her-story Month with both a biblical and practical approach.
